Understanding Patient Engagement in Pain Research: a Survey of Participation and Experience

Understanding the challenges and support that people living with chronic pain in research face

Patient engagement in research has expanded significantly in recent years, but challenges such as unclear roles, limited diversity, and power imbalances remain. This study aims to better understand the challenges and support to patient partner engagement in chronic pain research. It will also collect demographic information about how patient partners identify and to gain insight into how they approach and understand their work.
